Music Scholarships

Classification: First Year, Transfer, Music Major, Music Minor
The Award:

Enriching the tradition of a strong music program, Meredith offers competitive scholarships to recognize outstanding musicians. These awards are renewed annually, for a total of four years, subject to the recipient’s remaining in good standing, being a full-time student pursuing a major or minor in music, and maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 on all music courses taken at Meredith. Other requirements include participation in a major ensemble every semester of scholarship receipt.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for a Music Talent Scholarship students must be admitted to the college. Scholarship recipients are selected based on musical talent, academic ability, previous performance, commitment to the field of music and potential achievement in the field. Students who audition will interview with the music faculty. Initial scholarship notifications will be sent out when the student has been admitted to the college, auditioned for the Music program, and completed their financial aid application/FAFSA.
