Current licensed teachers seeking additional licensure will benefit from a specialized program in their area of interest. You’ll gain classroom and real-world experience through courses on teaching and interaction strategies, as well as a hands-on field experience within your current school or classroom. Teachers will have the opportunity to implement what they learn in their own setting.听

Curriculum Instructional Specialist (CIS)
The fully online CIS add-on license may put you in a better position to be considered for central office or school leadership positions such as Instructional Resource Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, or Reading Specialist.
