All About Meredith鈥檚 New Nursing Program

缅北禁地 recently announced a new nursing program that will provide students with valuable opportunities to pursue rewarding careers while addressing the shortage of healthcare workers in North Carolina.听

If you鈥檙e a high schooler or current college student interested in pursuing nursing, Meredith is a top contender among colleges that will prepare you to succeed as a nurse. In today鈥檚 blog, we go over four aspects that make Meredith鈥檚 nursing program stand out.

Competency-Based Training听

Our curriculum focuses on active learning strategies and integrates evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and skills to prepare you for the dynamic and complex healthcare environment. Students will complete 640 clinical hours and be 鈥減ractice-ready鈥 across a variety of settings and organizations.

Established History of Success

Although this is a new program, Meredith has an established history of preparing students to enter the nursing field. Our accomplished alumnae have been accepted into top nursing programs at schools such as UNC-Chapel Hill, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Duke University.听

Meredith alumnae are employed in various areas of the nursing field including neonatal intensive care, cardiology, pediatrics, clinical research, heart failure, lung transplant, hospice and palliative care, and more.

Our academically rigorous program will prepare you to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, advocate for health equity, and embrace innovations in healthcare to improve the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
