  • Meredith alumnae are employed in various areas of the nursing field including neonatal intensive care, cardiology, pediatrics, clinical research, heart failure and lung transplant, hospice and palliative care, and more.
  • You will be eligible to apply for licensure as a registered nurse and be 鈥減ractice-ready鈥 across a variety of settings and organizations.

About the Program

Michelle Hartman is an associate professor and director of Meredith鈥檚 Nursing Program. She advises students considering a career in nursing. Before coming to Meredith, she was an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Duke University School of Nursing.

Meredith students will be eligible to apply for the nursing program through a secondary application process that will begin during the fall 2025 semester. Learn more about applying.

Strong Stories

The opportunity to make a lasting impact on鈥 the health 鈥媜f patients and improve their quality of life is what drove Kate DeSilva Ray, ’19, to 鈥媏nter the healthcare field. After completing her degree in public health at Meredith, she earned her bachelor’s in nursing.

Taisir Idries’s,聽17, experience at Meredith inspired her to pursue a career path in empowering others. After completing a B.A. in biology at Meredith, she earned her nursing聽degree at Duke University and is now a clinical research coordinator nurse.聽 聽聽

Nursing News

The Board of Trustees at 缅北禁地 has officially approved the establishment of a new nursing program, marking a pivotal moment in the institution鈥檚 history in response to the critical shortage of nurses in N.C. and the nation.聽
