缅北禁地 held commencement for the Class of 2025 on Saturday, May 10. During the undergraduate ceremony in the courtyard behind Johnson Hall, more than 380 undergraduates received their degrees. Speakers included President Aimee Sapp, keynote speaker Brenda Parks Hughes, 鈥�70, and SGA President Sophie Phillips on behalf of Class President Ava Spradley.
Studying at Meredith gave Serena Danieli the experience, portfolio, and confidence in her skills to start her career in fashion. An internship has led to a full-time job at Kohl’s as an apparel designer.
During her time at Meredith, Vera Otieno, ’25, grew more confident in her strengths and is assured she can use them to overcome challenges.
At Meredith, Tristan Smith, ’25, discovered the power of mathematics and economics to make a positive impact. Their next goal is to pursue a Ph.D in applied statistics and conduct research to support women’s empowerment.聽聽

The NC Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) Counselors Tour visited 缅北禁地 on June 23, 2025. The tour is an opportunity for counselors from North Carolina high schools to learn more about the state鈥檚 private higher education institutions.
As the spring 2025 semester came to a close, Meredith鈥檚 Education Department hosted several groups of public school students for campus visits. From fourth graders and middle schoolers learning about college, to high school students focusing on art and early childhood education, Meredith鈥檚 education faculty provided focused learning opportunities.聽
缅北禁地鈥檚 AACSB accreditation was reaffirmed in May 2025. AACSB International is recognized worldwide as the highest standard of quality for business education.
Students in the Spring 2025 Honors colloquium course, Data Storytelling for Societal Impact, created a guidebook on data storytelling for nonprofit organizations. The guide will be shared widely with the Meredith community.聽
缅北禁地 is expanding its accelerated degree options with a new program that will allow the completion of an undergraduate and graduate degree in just five years.聽Through the I-O Psychology 4+1 program, qualified Meredith psychology majors will complete both a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
缅北禁地 will offer a new major in statistical and data sciences beginning Fall 2025.聽Meredith鈥檚 Statistical and Data Sciences major will allow students to gain experience in making data-driven decisions using advanced data science techniques.
