We鈥檙e so excited for you to live on campus! Here is a suggested packing list, including items to make your space feel more like home. We also encourage you to connect with your roommate before you start packing, as there are some items you can share.聽

  • Bedding, such as a comforter, mattress pad, pillow, and sheets (standard twin)
  • Alarm clock
  • UL-approved surge-protected power strips with an on/off switch
  • One refrigerator per room (maximum 4.5 cubic feet)
  • Single-serve coffee maker (one per room)
  • Towels
  • Umbrella
  • Toiletries
  • HD Ready TV and cable cord
  • Small lamp
  • Curtains (optional)
  • Shower curtain (liners provided)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Bath mat
  • Adhesives such as 3M Command Strips, blue painters tape, and nails that are no larger than 1鈥 long
  • Rubber door stop (鈥渂ig foot鈥 recommended)
  • Pictures and posters
  • Small house plants
  • Area Rug
  • All pets other than fish (maximum 10-gallon tank)
  • Ceiling fans
  • Anything that hangs from the ceiling
  • Any type of halogen light
  • Lava lamps
  • Candles ($50 fine per candle 鈥 LEAVE THEM AT HOME)
  • Any type of tart warmer
  • Electric mini holiday lights or any kind of decorative string lights (with the exception of battery-operated lights)
  • Multi-plug extension cords
  • Electrical cooking appliances (coffee pots, deep fryers, blenders, toasters, toaster ovens, sandwich makers, indoor grills, etc.)
  • Microwave oven
  • Space heater
  • Sun lamps
  • Nails that are longer than 1鈥 and all screws
  • Bricks
