Think Meredith Recap

缅北禁地 welcomed 98 prospective first-year and transfer students on Saturday, November 15, for Think Meredith, an admissions open house.聽

鈥淎fter weeks of thoughtfully designing programming, we are finally able to welcome students we鈥檝e been corresponding with throughout the season, as well as newcomers,鈥 said Vanessa Z贸a, director of traditional admissions & recruitment activities. 鈥淢y favorite part is seeing students start to form bonds with one another, laughing and learning together during the sessions.鈥澛

The event鈥檚 agenda included

  • Informational sessions on scholarship opportunities and the admissions process, including the program, where students can secure their spot and enjoy special opportunities when they deposit early.聽
  • A Special Academic Programs & Student Services Fair.聽
  • An opportunity for attendees to meet faculty in their intended area of study.
  • Complimentary lunch at Belk Dining Hall.聽
  • A Meet the Admissions Team session where attendees received a thank-you gift.聽

Meredith student ambassadors are also a vital part of Think Meredith. As current students, they provide insight into the real student experience at Meredith and lead tours of our beautiful campus.聽聽

缅北禁地 student ambassadors at Think Meredith on November 15, 2025鈥淚 want prospective students and their families to see the love we have for our college and the community we鈥檝e built here,鈥 said Victori Rodriguez, 鈥26, on why she became a student ambassador. 鈥淚 want them to find a home in Meredith, like I did.鈥

Kaitlyn Lawton, 鈥28, said being an ambassador is rewarding. 鈥淚 love seeing students commit to Meredith and meeting them again the following year. I鈥檓 also an RA, and some of the residents on my floor are students I gave a tour to.鈥
