Meredith Welcomes Potential Honors and Teaching Scholars

Meredith welcomed 69 admitted students on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for Scholars’ Day.

Admitted students interviewed with faculty, staff, and current students to be considered for Meredith’s Honors and Teaching Scholars programs. During the interview sessions, staff and faculty mingled with parents and families over brunch.

“This day allows prospective students to connect with current students and to learn more about the academic enhancement programs and the dynamic community that Meredith provides,” said Dr. Cece Toole, director of the Honors and Teaching Scholars programs.

Current Honors and Teaching Scholars students led campus tours and hosted informational panels, allowing admitted students to ask questions and gain insight into what it’s like to attend Meredith.

Marina Ostrowski, ’26, an Honors student studying social work and psychology, participated in Scholars’ Day for the fourth time.

“It’s exciting to meet prospective students, see the potential next class of Honors students, and hear about their experiences, ambitions, and interests,” said Ostrowski. “After four years of interviewing, it’s become a valuable experience where I can reflect on how my confidence has grown and see how I’ve developed different skills.”

Admissions Counselor Grace Dunn, ’25, said many campus partners came together to make the event a success.

“Staff opened the library, the art gallery, and the Campus Store for admitted students,” said Dunn. “They were able to use coupons and get their first pieces of Meredith merch! Both parents and students seemed to enjoy their time on campus.” Visit for more information about the Honors Programs or for information about Teaching Scholars.
