Rebellious by Mike Wiley, the first show of the Theatre Program’s 2025-26 season, is planned for September 24-October 4 in Studio Theatre.聽

The play tells the story of the Bennett Belles, students at Greensboro’s HBCU for women, whose activism contributed to and led to the Greensboro sit-ins at the Woolworth counter, a pivotal turning point in the Civil Rights Movement.聽聽

is an award-winning, critically-acclaimed North Carolina playwright and actor whose theatrical works have toured the country.聽

Production dates are as follows:聽

• Wednesday, September 24鈥揝aturday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, September 27鈥揝unday, September 28 at 2 p.m.
• Thursday, October 2鈥揝aturday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, October 4 at 2 p.m.

All shows are free, with general admission seating.聽聽
