The 缅北禁地 MBA program marked an important milestone on August 25, 2025, with the launch of its redesigned curriculum.聽
The new structure reflects the realities of today鈥檚 workplace while keeping the hallmarks of a Meredith education at its core. Courses have shifted from three-credit to 1.5-credit offerings, each taught over seven weeks, giving students greater freedom to tailor their studies and engage with timely, relevant topics.聽
Students may now choose hybrid or fully online formats; hybrid courses meet in person four times and asynchronously the remaining weeks. This balance allows the program to meet the needs of working professionals while still preserving the close faculty-student relationships that define the Meredith experience.
To accompany the launch, the MBA program hosted a two-night orientation designed to create community and set the tone for collaborative learning. The first evening brought students and faculty together for conversation and networking before breaking into sessions that emphasized teamwork and problem-solving.聽
Another session featured an alumni panel, where graduates from a range of fields shared candid insights about their careers and the value of their MBA experience.聽
Chris Clarke, an entrepreneur and restaurant owner, reflected that although he could only take one class per semester, 鈥渋n all honesty, that night I came to class was the best night of every week.鈥澛
Fellow alumna Tasia Brommel added, 鈥淚n the world where everyone is quick to tell you no, the MBA program was the place where all the professors will tell you yes when you need help, a shoulder to cry on, or just someone to talk through your career.鈥
On the second night, students participated in skill-building workshops. One session focused on running effective meetings, both in person and online. Another invited faculty, alumni, and students to share favorite books and podcasts for lifelong learning.聽
Alumna Candance Goins, program manager at Eaton, reminded students of the importance of being both assertive and warm in leadership鈥攁 theme that resonated strongly as they considered their own paths. The discussion sparked broader conversations about leadership, innovation, and continuous learning, with students contributing recommendations to a list that will continue to grow with each cohort.
Together, these changes highlight Meredith鈥檚 commitment to a business education that is rigorous, adaptable, and rooted in community. The new curriculum provides options that fit the pace of today鈥檚 professionals, while orientation traditions ensure that every student feels connected to their peers, their professors, and the broader professional network that makes the Meredith MBA distinctive.
