鈥淢y group, led by Dr. Stutz in the geoscience department, went to the National Museum of Natural History. We were able to learn about the forensic ornithology department and explore the DNA lab. We learned about Roxie Collie Laybourne鈥檚 influence on forensic ornithology and her contribution to museum collections,鈥 said Mikayla Watts, 鈥23, the sub-committee chair for the fall trip. Laybourne was a Meredith alumna from the Class of 1932.
