缅北禁地 AACSB Accreditation Reaffirmed

缅北禁地鈥檚 AACSB accreditation was reaffirmed in May 2025. AACSB International is recognized worldwide as the highest standard of quality for business education.

鈥淢补颈苍迟补颈苍颈苍驳 places the 缅北禁地 School of Business among the top tier of business schools globally鈥攁n elite distinction held by fewer than 6% of business programs worldwide,鈥 said Kim Burke, dean of the School of Business.聽

鈥淔or us, it鈥檚 not just a hallmark of academic excellence; it affirms our commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and impactful student outcomes,鈥 Burke added. 鈥淭his recognition validates the strength of our curriculum, the quality of our faculty, and the success of our graduates in the workplace.鈥澛

缅北禁地 is the only undergraduate women鈥檚 college with an AACSB-accredited business school.

鈥淥ur school is a rare space where women lead, learn, and grow in an environment designed to elevate their voices,鈥 Burke said. 鈥淥ur students benefit from a personalized, mission-driven education that blends rigorous academics with mentorship, leadership development, and a strong emphasis on professional readiness.鈥

The AACSB peer review team highlighted several distinctive strengths of 惭别谤别诲颈迟丑鈥檚 School of Business, including:

  • Real-World Experience: Every undergraduate student completes a 120-hour internship, ensuring that they graduate with hands-on experience that supports our exceptional job placement rate.
  • Experiential Learning: The Broyhill Fellows Program offers high-impact learning experiences both on- and off-campus, helping students connect academic theory with real-world practice.
  • Supportive Culture: The peer review team was particularly impressed by the collaborative and student-centered culture fostered by our faculty, staff, and administrators鈥攁 testament to our mission of empowering women to lead and serve.

The School of Business has also cultivated a vibrant and inclusive culture. An engaged and supportive board of advisors strengthens professional networks and mentoring opportunities for current students.

惭别谤别诲颈迟丑鈥檚 School of Business includes programs in accounting, business administration, and economics at the undergraduate level and the Meredith MBA at the graduate level.聽
