
At Meredith, Tristan Smith, ’25, discovered the power of mathematics and economics to make a positive impact. Their next goal is to pursue a Ph.D in applied statistics and conduct research to support women’s empowerment. Â

At Meredith, international student and Honors Scholar Student Nafissa Bia, ’25, found a vibrant community, rich experiential learning opportunities, and internships that led to a full-time position after graduation.

At Meredith, computer science and math major Emma Brooks, ’24, found an environment where she could focus on learning without worrying about gender biases. Next she’ll earn a master’s in analytics to prepare for a career in data science.

Jean Hinton, ’25, discovered a passion for data science through her classes at Meredith. By designing her own major, she will be the first Meredith student to earn a B.S. in statistical and data sciences.

Computer science major Wanjiru Mambo, ’24, has held several internship positions and participated in experiential experiences to expand her knowledge and network.
