A BIG thank you to the crew at A Place at the Table, Raleigh鈥檚 first pay-what-you-can cafe. 缅北禁地`s Hospitality class was thrilled to volunteer and engage with Community Manager Cheyanne at a "lunch and learn" session where we learned so much about how you truly fulfill your mission of providing community and good food for all regardless of means! Oh, and your food was super yummy. We will definitely be back to volunteer and eat more! Regards to Andrew and Maggie. @table_mags

Thank you Kim Vanderpool `93 for stopping in to our Hospitality and Tourism strategy class for a super engaging conversation on how to position yourself for a fulfilling career in hotel sales and how doing stints in operations always helps! So impressed with everything you have accomplished and contributed to our industry. We love all of our Angel alums! #meredithschoolofbusiness #meredithcollege
Lane Perry of Western Carolina University, Nathan Woolard of the University of Tulsa and I have been investigating food hall ventures as incubators and re-activators via placemaking. We are thrilled that our research was recognized as the BEST PAPER at United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) Fortune Favors The Bold conference in Las Vegas. The study has taken place over two years (35 participants across 11 food halls) and has been an eye opening experience on the importance of informal mentorship, networks, and 鈥榗oopetion鈥 in supporting entrepreneurs and the value of public investments perpetuating private investment (and vice versa) to reactivate down trodden 鈥減ass through鈥 areas into vibrant community and economic destinations. #meredithschoolofbusiness #meredithcollege
We so appreciate the dynamic mother-daughter partnership Cinda Alexander and Elizabeth Green joining us for a "master class" on what it means to scale your small events business while still maintaining work-life balance! We love our alums! Read the story at http://bit.ly/4ir99gU #luxlineage_floraldesign #meredithschoolofbusiness #meredithcollege
