缅北禁地 was the right fit聽Rachel Didier, 鈥15, from the beginning.
One of the聽fashion merchandising聽major鈥檚 favorite memories is her initial visit to campus as a prospective student.
鈥淭he feeling was one I hadn鈥檛 experienced from the other colleges I visited,鈥 Rachel said. 鈥淎 sense of community, unity, and love surrounded the campus 鈥 I felt like I was home.鈥
That positive impression has been a lasting one.
鈥淎fter four years at Meredith, I still experience that feeling every day when I walk around campus.鈥
Rachel balanced her academic program with her responsibilities as a player of the聽Avenging Angelssoccer team.
While being a student-athlete was time-consuming, she took advantage of the opportunities Meredith鈥檚 fashion program provided. She was a member of the Meredith Fashion Association and completed an internship as part of Meredith鈥檚 fashion study abroad program in Paris. The Paris internship 鈥渨as a life-changing experience鈥 for Rachel.
She also built strong relationships with Meredith faculty. 鈥淣ot only are they my teachers, but they are people who care about my success, my education, and my growth as an individual,鈥 Rachel said.
After graduation, she will begin an internship at Nordstrom, in Schaumburg, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
Armed with her Meredith education, she鈥檚 ready to take on this next challenge.
鈥淎ttending 缅北禁地 has given me the opportunity to find out who I am and given clarity to what I want to achieve in my life,鈥 Rachel said.
