We are excited you have chosen to attend Ãå±±½ûµØ! There are a number of tasks for you to do over the summer to begin your Meredith journey. Pay attention to these dates as well as specific deadlines so that you can be fully prepared to arrive on campus in August.Ìý
Don’t forget to check your Meredith email account regularly. All college communications will be sent to that address, including important information sent this summer leading up to your arrival in August.Ìý

After paying your enrollment deposit, one of the most important next steps is to request your NET ID and set up your NET ID and password via theÌý. After completing the form, you should receive an email from Meredith’s Technology Services Team noting your NETID and sharing further instructions. If you have any questions or difficulties setting up your password, please contact Technology Services atÌýtechsupport@meredith.eduÌýor by phone at (919) 760-2323.
All college communications will be sent to your Meredith emailÌý²¹´Ú³Ù±ð°ùÌýStartStrongÌý(in June), so don’t delay in getting your email set up, and pleaseÌýÌýso you are on top of everything you need to know and do before August.

Submit all required student health and immunization forms via theÌý.
Forms are due by 7/1/24. Late forms may delay your course schedule from being released.

At the start of each academic year, students must show proof of insurance coverage (starting before August 1st and running through the entire academic year) by either submitting a waiver or enrolling in Meredith’s student health insurance via theÌý.Ìý
Action is due for all students before Wednesday, 9/11/24 at 5:00pm.Ìý

High school graduates need to submit their official high school transcript to Meredith by a school official.ÌýWe cannot accept transcripts from students.Ìý
Early College high school graduates or Dual Enrollment students also need to request official transcripts from the partnering institution via theÌý.
Transfer students need to submit official transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended via theÌý.Ìý
ÌýStudents with AP scores need to submit official results viaÌý.
Questions regarding any required placement testing should be directed to the Student Success Center atÌýsuccess@meredith.eduÌý
For students needing to take the placement exams, log intoÌýÌýwith your Meredith login credentials. You will be able to access the language placement test under the courses section in Brightspace.Ìý
PleaseÌýcomplete your testing as soon as possible. We recommend that placement tests be completed by Monday, June 3. Completing the placement test by that date will ensure your results are available for enrollment counseling meetings occurring at StartStrong.
For fullest consideration, Housing Request Forms are due by 6/30/24.Ìý
Roommate and/or suitemate requests and formÌýupdatesÌýcan be made by editing your housing form through June 30. After July 1, 2024, requests must be submitted directly toÌýreslife@meredith.edu.Ìý
Only mutual requests will be honored.Ìý
Housing assignments will be communicated with students via Meredith email by mid-July.Ìý

Choose from four available dates in June. DuringÌýStartStrong, you willÌýmeet with an enrollment counselor, connect with many of Meredith’s student services, and get to know other incoming students in your class.
All new first-year students are required to attend StartStrong.

Ready to start your journey with StrongPoints? Be on the lookout for an email from Gallup sent to your Meredith.edu account staring June 26th. This email gives you access to the CliftonStrengths Assessment—the gateway to discovering your strengths. Watch the “” video to learn more and be sure to complete the assessment before New Student Orientation in August. The StrongPoints team looks forward to helping you maximize your strengths throughout your time at Meredith.
Your CamCard is a student identification card, a debit card, a meal card, and a residence hall entrance card issued to all students.Ìý
Most students will be issued a CamCard during StartStrong.Ìý
Students not participating in an organized pre-orientation program will get their CamCards during New Student Orientation, if not before. For any questions, contactÌýCampus Police.
If living on campus, you will be given a unique move-in time assignment in early July at the same time you receive your housing assignment. Check back here in July for more information.

Once you have a NET ID and password and have received your course schedule for the Fall, you can use Student Self Service to view your account activity, print records, and pay your bill. New students may opt to participate in the program and be assigned a Big who they can connect with if they have questions about Meredith or navigating college. Big Little pairs can also attend campus activities and campus traditions together!Ìý

Your SA or WTA will be in contact with you in early August to introduce themselves, answer any questions, and may even set up a Zoom call for your entire SA/WTA group to meet each other before your arrival.Ìý
First-year students will get an email, phone call and/or text from their Success Coach in early August to introduce themselves and answer any questions. Make sure you are checking your Meredith email!
Be a leader for your class as a member of Student Government! Elections Information Week starts August 26 and there will be multiple information sessions to learn more about elected positions (Note: attendance at one information session is required for students wishing to run for elected office). Be on the lookout for details from the Elections Board Chair on when the sessions will be held, or visit the Student Leadership and Service MyMeredith page.
