Courtney is a tenacious leader that manages four brands under the C and D Events INC umbrella that she co-lead with her business partner for 15 plus years. She helps plan, design, and execute hundreds of events per year and specializes in business growth, team building and mentoring other industry professionals.
She is very thankful for the opportunity to work with and teach 缅北禁地 students in the newly created Hospitality and Tourism Management program. Over the years of owning and operating several hospitality businesses in the Triangle area she has grown to love the industry and has found a passion in coaching other businesses toward success. As a former public school teacher for 10 years, she is thrilled to be able to take her passion and skills for business growth into the classroom, at her fabulous alma mater no less!
She and her partner continue to navigate this ever-changing industry and have grown to appreciate all of the ebbs and flows and the constant evolution that is required to stay relevant. Change and evolution is a given and being able to be on the front line of innovative ideas and fresh enthusiasm is exhilarating. She looks forward to being a guiding force and hold space for fresh thinking within Meredith’s academic community as Adjunct Instructor.
