Dr. Sasha Ormond teaches general, organic, and quantitative analytical chemistry and is the Department Head of Chemistry, Physics, and Geoscience. Prior to joining 缅北禁地 full time in 2013, Dr. Ormond was an adjunct at 缅北禁地 and at Johnston Community College for one year. Research students under Dr. Ormond鈥檚 guidance have worked on organic synthesis of antibiotics and dyes, biofuel production, GC/MS analysis of digestive juices of Sarracenia purpurea, and other projects. Dr. Ormond is involved with the North Carolina section of the American Chemical Society and is the chapter advisor of ACS at 缅北禁地.
