DESCRIPTION:This camp\, taught by Ãå±±½ûµØ English Department faculty\, offers students of all gender identities\, ages 10-14\, a week of writing\, creativity\, and fun. The week will include: \n\ncreative writing exercises and games\ndaily discussions of creative writing topics like characterization\, setting\, imagery\, and dialogue with exercises to enhance our discussions\ntime outside for socialization\, recreation\, and individual writing\none-on-one conferences between writers and instructors\ngroup-wide sharing of and feedback about creative work\na field trip to the NC Museum of Art to write about visual art\na reading of the young writers’ work for parents and friends\n\nThe $375 registration fee includes writing materials\, a camp t-shirt\, daily lunches\, and snacks each day. \nTo learn more and register\, visit /summer-programs/young-writers-camp/

DESCRIPTION:With an experienced staff of current Ãå±±½ûµØ Basketball coaches and current Meredith Basketball players\, our Skills Camp will be focusing on mastering the fundamentals of the game – both offensively and defensively – while also competing in team games as well as individual competitions. There will be individual as well as group instruction. The goal of our camp is to help your player develop individually and become a team player by emphasizing team spirit and sportsmanship.
