DESCRIPTION:This camp is sponsored by 缅北禁地 in collaboration with Wake County Public Schools. With a goal of providing student musicians with an opportunity to develop their musicianship skills when school is not in session. The camp will culminate in a performance of pops music in the picturesque McIver Amphitheater. The staff will be Wake County strings educators and 缅北禁地 music faculty. \nThe camp is open to area strings students who have a minimum of one year of performing experience. The music to be performed will include pops and film score music geared toward students who have played for around 1-2 years. \nCamp Dates: July 21-25\,聽 2025\, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The camp will end with a concert in the early evening on Friday\, July 25. \nCost: $220.00 (Payments must be received by July 14\, 2025). SUMMARY:缅北禁地 Middle School Dance Intensive Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Spend the day growing as a dancer and performer in this contemporary technique and repertory intensive for rising 7th\, and 8th\, and 9th grade girls and boys with previous dance experience. Dancers will spend the mornings in a supportive yet challenging curriculum including contemporary modern\, contemporary jazz\, and yoga for dancers. All classes will be taught by 缅北禁地 dance faculty. The afternoons will focus on performance as dancers learn one of two works selected and adapted from the 2024-2025 缅北禁地 Dance season. The last day of camp will feature an afternoon performance for guests of the dancers. All classes will be taught on professionally sprung floors. \nIf at least six dancers from the same middle school dance or studio ensemble are in the same camp group\, arrangements can be made for the finished work to be performed on their 2024-25 season for a minimal fee. The cast can include additional members of the ensemble. What Evelyn\, her brother Jonathan and Rick are unaware of is that another group of explorers are interested in the same dig. Unfortunately for everyone\, this group ends up unleashing a curse which been laid on the dead High Priest Imhotep. Now 鈥楾he Mummy鈥� is awake and it鈥檚 going to take a lot more than guns to send him back to where he came from. In addition to science activities and stations before the movie\, we鈥檒l host an expert and movie trivia (with prizes) following the screening.
