This meeting is聽mandatory聽for all freshmen so that you can learn more about Meredith鈥檚 Student Government Association (SGA) and our campus. Part of the meeting will also introduce you to one of Meredith鈥檚 most well-known and unique traditions (Corn!) and the student organization that plans it (the Meredith Recreation Association, or 鈥淢RA鈥�). The good news is鈥� you are already a member of MRA, because every student is a member! If you are inspired by the presentation on Corn and MRA, you鈥檒l be given information on how you can actively join as an MRA officer or Corn Chair for your Freshman Class.聽 Following the Freshman Class meeting, the SGA Elections Board will offer the first of three (3) Information Sessions to provide information about the Freshman Class Elections process and available class positions for which students can run.
