With a goal of providing student musicians with an opportunity to develop their musicianship skills when school is not in session. The camp will culminate in a performance of pops music in the picturesque McIver Amphitheater. The staff will be Wake County strings educators and Ãå±±½ûµØ music faculty. \nThe camp is open to area strings students who have a minimum of one year of performing experience. DESCRIPTION:With an experienced staff of current Ãå±±½ûµØ Basketball coaches and current Meredith Basketball players\, our Skills Camp will be focusing on mastering the fundamentals of the game – both offensively and defensively – while also competing in team games as well as individual competitions. There will be individual as well as group instruction. The goal of our camp is to help your player develop individually and become a team player by emphasizing team spirit and sportsmanship. Awards will be given out at the end of camp and each camper will receive a camp t-shirt as well as a wristband. SUMMARY:Ãå±±½ûµØ Middle School Dance Intensive Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Spend the day growing as a dancer and performer in this contemporary technique and repertory intensive for rising 7th\, and 8th\, and 9th grade girls and boys with previous dance experience. Dancers will spend the mornings in a supportive yet challenging curriculum including contemporary modern\, contemporary jazz\, and yoga for dancers. All classes will be taught by Ãå±±½ûµØ dance faculty. The afternoons will focus on performance as dancers learn one of two works selected and adapted from the 2024-2025 Ãå±±½ûµØ Dance season. The last day of camp will feature an afternoon performance for guests of the dancers. All classes will be taught on professionally sprung floors. \nIf at least six dancers from the same middle school dance or studio ensemble are in the same camp group\, arrangements can be made for the finished work to be performed on their 2024-25 season for a minimal fee. The cast can include additional members of the ensemble.
