The residency was such a fun way for me to explore new techniques and feel supported and encouraged along the way. It pushed me to grow my professional and individual voice as an artist.聽
Currently
Right now I split my time between commission work, teaching independently, and selling my own paintings. The teaching assistant experience has been really helpful in my job now, as well as the progress I made in terms of my own painting technique.聽
Future
In the future I鈥檒l hope to grow my business selling my work through different avenues, teaching at a larger level, and/or going into art therapy.聽
