During your college journey, you鈥檒l have plenty of opportunities to enhance your learning and development beyond the traditional classroom. 92% of our students participate in some form of experiential learning, including undergraduate research. In today鈥檚 blog, we discuss just one of the ways we celebrate our students鈥� achievements at Meredith.

To showcase the work of our strong students, Meredith hosts a research symposium, Celebrating Student Achievement (CSA) Day, annually. Family, friends, faculty, staff, and students attended oral and poster presentation sessions which covered a variety of disciplines, such as art history, chemistry, data science, and more. In the most recent CSA Day, research topics included 鈥淓xploring Health Outcomes, Food Security, and Resilience Strategies among Latinx Residents in N.C. High Country鈥� and 鈥淭he Evolution of Pro-Democracy Movements in China 1989-2014鈥� to 鈥淓xamining Women鈥檚 Health Equity with Machine Learning Techniques鈥� and 鈥淔orecasting Energy Stock Prices Utilizing Historical Data and Time Series Analysis.鈥�

Additionally, there is a senior fashion show, an interior design showcase, and award ceremonies for achievements in academics and leadership.

鈥淐SA Day is an amazing way that 缅北禁地 can display the hard work of its students all across campus,鈥� said Brooke Herring, 鈥�24, a health, exercise & sport sciences major. 鈥淔rom research to posters to presentations, to award ceremonies and honor society inductions, I have been able to truly see the depth and devotion of the students鈥� love for learning, as well as Meredith鈥檚 desire to recognize their constant efforts.鈥�
