Last week on the admissions blog, we shared how outcome stories can benefit you on your college search.

At Meredith, we share Strong Stories to highlight student outcomes. Not only are we excited about our students鈥� success, we also share them to give you an idea of how a 缅北禁地 education can help you become even stronger.

We hope that you identify with some of these stories and they allow you to envision yourself attending Meredith and becoming just as successful as these students. Here are 20 Strong Stories from the Class of 2020

1. Hailing from Banjul, Gambia, Broyhill Fellow and business major Marie Johnson, 鈥�20, says Meredith helped align her strengths with her career path.

2. Henley Peatross, 鈥�20,听has found that her strengths align perfectly with her majors: social work and criminology.

3. Essence Thomas, ’20,听plans to become a physical therapist with the armed services after she graduates.

4. Madison Gladwell, 鈥�20,听embodies what it means to be a student-athlete. A double major in psychology and political science with a concentration in pre-law, she plans to attend law school after graduation.

5. At Meredith, Abigail Crooks, ’20, was equipped with skills and resources that allowed her to secure a job at Cisco months before graduation.

6. The daughter of missionaries, Keliy Grobbelaar, 鈥�20, has experienced a lot. Living all over the world helped her develop a great sense of cultural inclusivity and a passion for people from all backgrounds.

7. Mimi Mays, 諝20,听has enjoyed a variety of experiences, including studying abroad听and participating in Moot Court, which will help prepare her to attend law school.

8. Volleyball co-captain and business administration major听Caroline Corey, ’20, has completed two powerful internships while at Meredith.

9. Determined to leave her mark in the community, Nabiha Khan, 鈥�20, worked hard to earn a biochemistry degree while being actively involved in undergraduate research, campus traditions, and student organizations.

10. 听As an Honors Scholar and a student-athlete, Emily Skoglund, 鈥�20, has made an impact on and off the volleyball court.

11. Presidential Scholar Carol Jablonski, ’20, knew she was strong before coming to Meredith. But she had no idea just how strong she could be. After graduation, she will begin working at MetLife as a vendor management specialist.

12. For Olivia Brown, ’20, identifying her top strengths served her well during her internship as a frontend software developer at HCL Technologies, where she accepted a full-time position after graduation.

13. Social work major Lindsey Norris, ’20, was accepted into the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill鈥檚 Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program. She was also chosen to participate in the highly selective UNC PrimeCare program.

14. 听After graduating with her degree in business administration, Fareena Qamar, ’20, will begin her career at Morgan Stanley as an analyst at the company鈥檚 global headquarters in New York City.

15. Giselle Betancourt, ’20,听used her strengths and support from professors to turn her summer internship at Credit Suisse into a full time job after graduation.

16. 听Through her involvement in campus organizations, guidance from the Office of Career Planning, and support from her professors, Diana Betancourt, 鈥�20, was able to secure a position at Credit Suisse months before completing her degree.

17. 听Four years at Meredith have givenOlivia Holway, 始20,听friendships to last her the rest of her life, and confidence to start work at a Fortune 500 company after graduation.

18. After graduating from Meredith,听Delaney Rhodes, 始20, plans to take the knowledge and insights she has gained at Meredith to South Korea, where she will teach English.

19. Exercise and Sports Science major Lauren Grodi, 鈥�20, used her strengths at Meredith as volleyball team captain, student researcher, and intern. Next, she鈥檒l apply them while earning her doctorate in physical therapy at East Carolina University.

20. Internships, leadership opportunities, and the Meredith Autism Program have prepared Laura Jenkins, 鈥�20, to take on an occupational therapy program after graduation.
