A faculty mentor helped biology major Laura Hooper, 鈥24, find an opportunity at a lab at Auburn University with a research focus that perfectly matches her interests in aquatic science and microbiology. She will be pursuing a master鈥檚 degree with a full-ride and graduate assistantship.

Through multiple internships, leadership opportunities, and challenging academics, Broyhill Fellow Machaela Murrell, ’24, combined her interests in music and finance to identify a career path that was right for her.

Through an internship and honors thesis, nutrition major Anna-Moriah Fung, 鈥24, has expanded her knowledge and passion for the field. Her next step: pursuing a Master of Public Health from UNC at Chapel Hill.
